This painting has to do with the two dynamics. ‘Yin ‘n Yang’ and ‘No Yin ‘n Yang’. That is, the dualistic and the singular. Since the Biblical story of man’s beginning said Adam did not know good and bad, it’s possible he lived in the singular dynamic, where no yin and yang existed. That story also says he was immortal. However, after eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad, he went into the yin and yang, where, the fact that there is life means there must also be death. He was now mortal. I could’ve called this painting mortal balls.
